You could find a decent writer that would do 8 to 10 pieces of unique, detailed content for you. Content is king when it comes to getting organic traffic in my opinion.

I'll also throw my vote in for Majestic but to be fair - I haven't really used the others. Don't fix something if it isn't broken though - Majestic for sure.

I'd go with the brand over the keyword. There are so many other variables when it comes to ranking - you won't be missing out. After all, something like BlueRiverSupplements.com sounds better than BestOnlineSupplementsCheap.com See what I'm saying?

According to who or what? I've literally had ONE backlink increase my PR - lost it - and didn't go back down. So, the BL had a positive impact but once removed - no negative impact. Why?

It's hard to say - did the site have a lot of backlinks? If the site is still up with content but hasn't been updated - I doubt it's being crawled that much. I could be wrong though.

I'd like to see a sample site as well... Also - more details on WHAT we get. Just a design? Pre-filled products? And will the site I order look any different than say the next guy?

500,000 backlinks? That seems a bit excessive to me....

Usually - when someone charges $3 per 500 words - they are outsourcing it. I won't write a 500 word article for any less than $10 and that's if I'm doing bulk orders. But yes - good content is definitely the way to go in my opinion. Glad you agree though!

Absolutely. Just don't claim to be something you aren't and create valuable - fan friendly content. But HOW you make money off of this has a lot to do with it as well.

Sure, here are two ideas: 1. Answer questions - get the best answer - refer users in your answer to a site where YOU sell a product/service. 2. Use it to obtain a GOOD backlink via a GOOD answer to your site which will ultimately make you money (potentially increased ranking).

Pick a keyword and write ABOUT it - and potentially the keyword will be used. Never "stuff" a keyword(s) into your content. Just create long and valuable content - Google loves it. The rest will fall into place. You can manipulate keyword usage elsewhere.... But never force it into your content.
