Same here. I also did not give value to good backlink packages. Also, I was exprementing with lot of blogs. I learned it hard way when I became short of funds in few months.

It is very risky. But you should extract every possible revenue with this ranking article. Like if you have affiliate links in the article, you should also add internal links to other pages with different promotions to earn even more.
