There is another side called agar.one, which ahrefs says has 500k backlinks. That domain no longer lists on google though because of the dmca so hopefully I can start competing

I don't think so, I have spoken with these guys, they have a group of like 10 people where they all do the same weird backlink techniques and get 300k+ backlinks and rank

They may have a pbn, but ahrefs top backlinks are mostly comments or random pages where their links are just hidden in the html(inspect element and control f for "agar") dailynews.lk is an example of a page where the link is randomly just there
