I've got about 30 posts up so far and have gotten some traffic from image searches so far. Very little, but I'll take it. Don't want to send it through any social networks just yet.
Anyone "successful" with this method yet? I'm in the process of creating one of these sites. Got a bit more tweaking to do, but I'm about ready to make it live.
Nice method. My game pages have always done well on Stumbleupon. But no conversions or ad clicks. However, great for CPM ads if you can get the content to go viral. Anything weird, fun, hilarious, cool tools, etc. do well.

1. Write up a good press release and find a gig that will get your press release on the first page of G news. Press releases are a great starting point. And if your press release in "news worthy", expect a good amount of traffic.

Whether it survives or not, it is best to go ahead and know the ropes just in case Google+ dominates in the near or distant future. Look how much twitter and facebook have evolved.
Try using 10+ keywords, spun descriptions and different usernames per bookmarking account if you are manually submitting bookmarks. And don't do back to back submissions. Link building needs to be spread out so it looks natural.
