Elance is good in my opinion. It took me a while to get started mainly because, like SkyrocketSEO described, some people are extremely lazy and don't deliver. But there are ways to avoid that, like looking at reputation and so forth.

I use spellcheckplus and ginger software. Ginger is quite good and finds plenty of mistakes. IMO it's the best out there and it's free.

You need to be good and bear in mind that it takes forever to establish yourself. It's doable if you're flexible, offer competitive rates and work on building a very good reputation. Also, get professional references.

There's no automatic uploading tool. As far as I'm aware, you need to do everything by hand.
