I think this method is solid with the right combination of targeted keywords, twitter traffic does not seem to convert great for affiliate/cpa, but traffic is traffic.. don't forget hashtags work and can be used across most networks, fb, instagram, pintrest etc..

I built a twitterbot in php that posts using twitter's api with a mixture of related images/tweet text and affiliate links. I think that dripfed tweets are an excellent traffic generator, but.. that the conversion rates from twitter traffic are much lower in general than organic search traffic...
