Make sure you play on people their feelings if you don't already. Everyone gets bored after 10 cute pictures of animals. Post a somewhat uglier picture with a made up story underneath it once in a while. Everyone likes a good deed! (The followers you have already + others)

The more you know the better. Prioritize IM over programming though. 85% (IM) - 15% (Programming) would be ideal.

Don't do anything with it. Keep it on your bank account. Listen to the others, start with something small that don't need finance. Get some experience, read a lot on the forums and once you decide what you want to do you can put time and money in it.
