Oh, I should add that I started a company is a competitive field. The services involve each customer spending at least $500, so there's lots of competition. So given this is the business I want to be in, I don't have a choice but to compete in a highly competitive keyword marketplace.

One problem is the site is now about 6 months old. I had an extended development period, so actual content is only about 2 months. I copy / pasted some content from a competing website (changed some text).

I guess I'm feeling a little overwhelmed right now with all the services people are selling on this site. I want to boost my website's ranking, and I see no shortage of services and products being offered. Sometimes the offer is easy for me to pass up, as it reads too much like a used car...

A friend of mine is a long-time ebay seller, and has a 100% feedback rating. He does just this to keep it at 100%, offers free stuff, discounts, etc. just so they change their review to a positive one. Seems kinda pricey since probably a 98% would suffice, but he's a stickler.

I've also recently learned that they can use things such as the fonts you have on your PC and the order they load in. This is one of the pieces of information that your user agent (that is, your browser self-identifies to the website with) provides.

I'm missing something. You PM'd them what? Spam about your site?

I've been giving this some thought as well. Given how most sites use google analytics, I imagine google can detect patterns and determine that a proxy is being used. I would imagine the only way around this would be a network of actual, personal PCs. Not an illegal bot operations, but it...
