I posted to all the major cities (20 or so) using the same ip, same email address (didn't have to login) to backpage a week ago. All ads still remain. I'm getting about 35 clicks a day from all combined (has dropped off a bit as the week has progressed).

Forgive me for taking your question in a slightly different direction, but have you considered Drupal? This can easily be accomplished with the "Feeds" module. I know most people here are big fans of WP, but Drupal has the same seo friendly structure, and a lot more power.
