Yes, videos/pictures in tweets of big accounts. When I posted 10 replies a day I got 100+ followers a day (sometimes less, sometimes 200), it's a good method, but now everything is ruined by reply deboosting :(

Saw a Twitter account that posts dozens of replies a day, in three months it has gained ~150k followers and account is fine. The account has a blue checkmark, I think it helps to avoid deboosting and gain followers so fast.

But there are many accounts with videos that have hundreds of thousands of followers and live for years (pantyous account, for example, which has many videos even with watermarks). Or is it just a matter of time and the DMCA complaint will come sooner or later? Twitter is like a minefield :)
