autofollowbacks has not worked for me so far. I tried just following 30 people, and no one is following me back. So far.... Does Not Work.

I just tried it. Do not do it. I got 110 extra followers... but I'm now following over 400 more than I was. Now I have to go through and unfollow. Not worth it. Thumbs WAY DOWN!

I've seen bit.ly the most. That is one that when I see it, I don't even care what comes aftre. I think it might be over used. Just my 2 cents. I will look into some of the others you guys have said. They are interesting.
