Nice way of ranking... Can't live without blackhat seo anymore... Creating multiple site with low quality links and then pointing them to more quality websites that lead to the money website seems like the only working strategy nowadays.

Either you were blacklisted (in this case I would recommend to change your domain) or it may be a temporary thing with Google. I notice that on one of my website it appear to be ranking on 2nd page and then it disappears from the top 100 for a few days then comes back up.... Not sure what is...

With time your domains will probably become even more valuable... You can sell them later. In the long run, I would recommend writing content and getting visitors. You might monetize along the way and sell them after.

15-20 links probably won't be enough. You would need a lot of good quality backlinks that are hard to get. And yes, backlinks are probably the most important part of seo, along with content.
