I did get this working. It only makes those Reddit video thumbnails, but takes a video title, an image related to the title, and combines it with a border and background and stuff. Using python, pil, and some other stuff.

Can be done relativity easy with python PIL and some other libraries. The hardest part is extraction keywords from a title. Could be done using python library rake. Might try and I'll post if I figure it out.
