I've just gotten a .edu email address through my alma mater... I remember trying to get one in the past, but now that I've got one, I don't remember why. What are the advantages of using a .edu email address? Any?

OK, I wasn't sure. I didn't want to create a whole bunch of backlinks to a site if it's never going to be useful...

I've tried my hand at a simple link pyramid. Only a small handful of web2.0 sites have a little PR (all but one came in the Nov 2012 PR update). The rest are PR n/a through several updates, even though the sites do have pages indexed. Is there something else I need to do? Is there not enough...

I've been trying to set up my own link pyramid. Of the web 2.0s I'm building for my tier 2, a little more than half of them are unranked, even after the recent pagerank update. How can I find out what the problem is? Should I forget about the unranked ones and replace them?

But does anyone actually do this? I've heard this argument before, lots of times, but I think the number of people who aren't webmasters, who have any idea what pagerank is, and actually care about it, is probably rather small...
