Facebook can be a good way to find local business owners. Almost everyone is on facebook, even people who aren't very tech savvy

Cold calling can be really tough... if you can work referrals out of those cold calls, it can really up your closing rate. Be sure to ask for referrals from the people who aren't interested.

A friend of mine is making an avg of $200/day with Free Cash Machine, it's basically getting people to complete CPA offers. The trick is the marketing, and it sounds like you've already got that down. Are you doing any CPA offers on your sites now?
