Blackhat means not the usage of tools. It means to find out, what Google wants and to develop methods to blast your own site using these tools. They are only for supporting and for saving time.

I use 25 proxies (Squid) for 3 connections. In my opinion the quality of proxies is also important as the amount of it. Squid delivers Google checked proxies with a good speed.

If you copy the tabel into Excel, you can have all proxies in one column. So it's much better to select all proxies at one time.
