I own a site with only original content, it's a blog updated twice/week, the posts use to be quite long... and it was heavily pandalized (40% traffic loss). The bounce rate is about 50% (in Google Analytics) and now I'm working in reducing the template footprint because I don't really know why...

That seems to me as mixing White Hat and Black Hat... I wouldn't do that in the same site. Build sites only white or only black, but not both since the black hat part could harm the white hat one.

It's a good strategy, but I think it's better to have 10 2.0 properties and update them once/week. The blogs will be better considered and so the backlinks to your money site will be stronger.

Porn sites are as a separated world for Google, they recieve a "porn" flag. Links from porn sites are quite useless unless they target other porn sites and it's no good for a no-porn site to link to a porn one. Maybe one link is no problem, but more than one...

Today it's a sad day. Google only shows very few of the backlinks and majestic seo is good but it doesn't have as many backlinks as Yahoo :(

Good to know, but I still think backlinks between sites in different languages are less effective than backlinks between 2 sites in english (or any other language)

Just make 301 redirects, but you should redirect each page to its new version, don't 301-redirect everything to the new domain homepage. That will pass all link juice to the new domain, but you should also change all backlinks so they target the new domain, it'd be the best.

I guess hostgator is one of the cheapest... it's $8/month but you have unlimited domains, disk space... You should also think that if a webhosting is very very cheap, the speed will be worse.
