i feel that small bloggers should get a little more creattive when it comes to traffic.it is good to have rankings but it is much better to get linked from niche forums or to have ur posts shared by ur readers bcz u will get people who are actually interested in what u are talking about.

forums have always been a bit of a mixed bag for me.the link from an old but lively forum thread within ur niche might hold much more value than linkking to multiple forums that are just random.i would make the contribution the priority nd leave the backlink as a bonus.

I wouldnt pay attention to number of followers in the beginning and would posts different hooks and see which one get people past fst few seconds tbh

i dont need them much to reach people out but they are helpfull for hook testing to make sures what gets response becomes a post.

I removed the schemas markup from an un known tier 2 website and rankings jumped up two places the next day bcz who knows why.

Hello there man setting up WP is quite easy. The first thing u should do is choose a niche that interests you because if you dont you will stop after one month. Fyi concentrate on putting out content before anything else.
