From what I know there won't be interest based ads playing on your video anymore. That might mean that even less playbacks will have ads thus you'll make less money. But since I don't have a kids channel I can't say for sure, that's just the theory I've seen often.

You should also try multiple videos if you don't get an ad right away. Not every playback has an ad. Also make sure the videos don't have music that's claimed because that could mean the channel isn't monetized but that revenue from the ad goes to the artist.
