You’re mostly right. The algorithm now has many, many variables & options to sort through. For reference, the amount of videos on YouTube went from 2 Billion to 5 Billion from just 2020-2025. The algorithm now favors user engagement over every other metric.

Very true. I remember at one point it was almost the standard after SEMRush's system because increasingly unstable.

There has to be a way to circumvent such things. This would, in effect, kill most sellers at levels that are non-corporate.
