ye prob best to spread blog comments across multiple sites in your network (create some web 2.0's) - unless you can keep it up ad infinitum. Big G will notice any spike in links and at worst deindex your site.

I would say that's not bad going. If you forward traffic to an affiliate link, you might expect 10% to follow the link and 10% of those to make the purchase. So that's 1% of your traffic - which is about what you are seeing..

Two of my sites jumped from pr1 to pr4 on the last update - no effect in the serps though

stick em on clickbank - get other affiliates working on them..

you can use scrapebox to scrape a list of relevant authority sites to target. Linkassistant has a tool which helps manage guest posting.

don't go with 1and1 or godaddy - they both blow. Godaddy's interface is so bad it actually physically hurts me everytime I have to login. might as well setup your own vps if you are serious - thrustvps is good :)
