The software they're promoting says that they're real users, but I'm not so sure about that. You can take a look at their sales page. They're the first domain when you Google 'crowd search'. Their sales page says they're currently closed, and you'd need to be on a waiting list.

I've been testing a new software on 5 different sites for 2 months. I have seen no changes in movement. Google 'crowd search', and the top result is the product I've been testing. IMHO it's a waste of money. But I don't want to discourage you from testing.

I'd stay away from PR as it hasn't been updated in almost 1 1/2 years. PR is/was a metric that could be manipulated as well. I would look at domain authority, trust flow and citation flow (all 20 and above). You'll also need to examine the backlinks to make sure they aren't garbage/spam.

Really interesting that others have experienced something similar. I have a site that was ranked in the top 3. For no apparent reason, the site vanished from the SERPs. My PBN was not exposed because my other money sites (sharing the same PBN) were just fine. My anchor text ratio was on point...

Quality SEO is not inexpensive.

It could be several things, but it's most likely that the packages you bought are only so strong. I wouldn't be so concerned of the PR from the links you're getting; however, you should probably focus more on the DA/CF/TF.

That's incorrect. Good content will outrank a 1 page site if the backlinking profile is equal. But your statement (in a vacuum) is entirely misleading.

Yes, I've seen homepages drop, and the inner pages still ranking. In my experience... those inner-pages will drop off, too (in time). All I use are PBNs to rank my money sites. I suggest building your own, or hiring a reputable company to do so. Keyword diversification is very important...

You're going to get different opinions everywhere you look, but the sites that I'm referring to have some social signals (eg. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.) All the links are coming from very solid sites within my network, and pointing directly to my money site. I do not use buffers...
