Please do not go with godaddy for hosting. I ever tried them and I'm very disappointed with them. But if you want to register domain name only, I think they are still the best option.

Good luck for your new host. Anyway I never heard about powerup. If you satisfy with their services, please share your experience here. Maybe I will try them in the future.
