I don't know if this is just happening to me. But I keep getting recommendations for YouTube Live videos in particular suggestions to watch Simpsons and Family Guy Live. And another thing is I can't hide the recommendations like I can with regular suggested videos. Is this happening to anyone else?

You're right. I recently had a video get a lot views. The retention was extremely low. But I still showed up in other people's suggestions. I'm thinking being added to playlists helped the video get suggested and also watch time throughout other youtube videos similar to my video helped as well...

I've been speculating playlists too. I see this trend of superhero channels taking advantage of this. It seems like they have a set up of small channels with a host of playlists targeting a wide range of keywords in their niche.
