I hate em too - when i get questions from e bay users I usuallly send em to my website where they can save money and I avoid greedy e bay fees - I also make my 800# huge and say - call for specials and take the order over the phone or send a direct pay pal invoice - get creative you can avoid...

Yeah try refunding your customer one cent and the hold usually gets released.

the only thing good about pay pal is they get the money to your bank account in 2 days faster then my merchant accounts that take 3 days - 7 days is bad...

I use moneybookers - pay pal is dirty and always has an excuse.

Ebay keeps making stupid decisions....

They have made a lot of stupid changes for sellers. Top Rated seller is the biggest mistake, the other was eliminating the ability to buy a top positions. I can barely get my listings to page one anymore.
