I use eyname. Not many promos, but no bad surprises when I renew the domains, plus free privacy and full management/dns/forwarding. If you plan to keep your domains for years, it's good. Bulk tools are great too but you need to put credits on your account first to do mass registrations.

Multisite : single setup, single login, one updates all (WP, themes, plugins....) Separate installations : slightly easier to transfer the site, but nightmare to keep all updated if you have many....
