I could just be seeing correlation instead of causation but adding tags has helped us greatly. We went from a few thousand views per short to tens and hundreds of thousands of views when we started adding tags in the title and descriptions of our shorts.
For those that didn't know what the image was it was someone searching in Google and Google giving an answer to the question based on their AI. No this won't kill SEO. Most people will either ignore that prompt or just click on one of the top SERPs for more info.

There are also reports of lots of advertisers pulling their ads and thus money from Twitter. Twitter ads weren't working that well anyway so this is just more of a reason to stop spending their money on Twitter.

I've signed up for a group seo tools sub and tried out both spin rewriter and word ai and in my experience word ai was significantly better in not only quality of rewriting but also with uniqueness.
