Comments have been my actual indicator of interest lately. likes can just goes by but when somebody makes the effort to comment or ask questions, that means the posts really made an impact.

I has seen videos does better using 2 or 3 niche specific hashtags rather than using a bunches of general ones. in my opinion hash tags are better for context than reaching more people.

Both digital pr and mention on active forums in your niches or reddit is far more effective than regular link building. all cheap off page methods will just lays there without attracting even one visitor so you should concentrate on mostly clicks by people.
