I don't like using black hat because the stuff I find usually gives you low quality traffic. In the end, I'd rather use my time to write better content. It's working for me so far.

I'm not an expert, but this makes sense, according to all the stuff I've read. I don't know if you're planning to share a lot on social networks, but this worked for me. On Twitter, I shared 5x a day (for each content. On Facebook, I shared with a dozen relevant groups daily. Good Luck...

You should try oDesk. I haven't used it for design, but found awesome (and cheap) people for proofreading.
