Using multiple subdomains is fine. You are using this only as a sales pitch, so you can always delete old subdomains if it gets too crowded

I don't see a way this could make CR better than it already is using the traditional method. The main problem is getting the user to she shop, if you already did that why would you do all these extra steps and filter your audience. You can make sense of urgency by putting "only 3 left" or so...
