If you did you get enough bid for your posted job then you may repost i think and make sure your profile is verified there, because usually unverified buyers get less bid rather than verified buyers
You may use Sucuri and itheme Security plugin in your WordPress site to enhance the site security and try to keep update everything (plugin, theme, WordPress)
Personally my opinion is, WordPress would be the good option for a blog or any other types of website. Wix has lots of limitation. Beside that, WordPress has a lot of options, plugins, themes. So i believe WordPress would be good.
