For example, if a business has a website but they don't know how to properly posy articles on it, they need someone to format the article, add headings, images and publish it correctly. That service makes the website more valuable.
Good question. From a content side, I usually look at it simply. If I update content and build links in the same month, I check that one page separately- traffic, impressions, and ranking for its main keyword before and after. If traffic goes up but the page was also updated, I don't claim it...
I started with content writing because it needs almost no budget. you only need skill and time. Ecommerce needs more money for products and ads. If you have a small budget, I think starting with a skill is safer.
Thanks for the detailed breakdown, really appreciate you sharing your experience. you are right, consistency matters more than trying to track the exact impact of a single link. I have seen the same thing, a steady pace over 2-3 months gives much clearer results than a sudden burst. your point...
@AdventureSeeker you're right, mobile form is probably the issue. I will make the contact button bigger and impossible to miss first, then simplify the form. Thanks for the tip!
@watchingthefray That's a great point, thank you! I never thought about extra fields costing enquiries. Showing a price range to filter tire kickers makes a lot of sense. I will test with a shorter form.
@i Authority Thank you, that's a great practical tip. I will try this friend test and check where people get stuck. Really appreciate you explaining it.
Yes it can be worth it. From my experience posting articles on websites, the biggest issue with AI-made sites is content formatting and posting. Business owners need someone who can properly post and format AI content on their site. So if you sell the website + article posting service together...
For me, focusing on one skill worked better than trying many things. I started with content writing and small SEO tasks. It takes time but $10-20 a day is more realistic in start than $50. Consistency matters more than searching for a perfect method.
For me, focusing on search intent helped . I start with 1 primary keyword and 2-3 secondary keywords, then build the title around it. After publishing I check how fast traffic grows and which queries bring clicks in GSC. This shows how good the article is and where to improve.
Thanks @tuk007 for your advice! That's a great point, I will first update my content and then observe the website status for some time as you suggested. Appreciate your help!
