Yes I'm doing things by hand now too and where I used to get around 18% follow back, now it's like 5%. No idea why, and the numbers aren't precise, but it seems something is going on.

I wonder where we can draw the safe limits for story viewing. Watching even 1000 stories per day seems unnatural but to get any result one would need lots and lots.

It's possible to do if there is only one account, or two of them. So it should be the kind of bot that's installed on your own phone or computer? Every time I tried some bots they were cloud/browser type services, often allowing me to set up my own proxy.
