cheap is fine for a new site with low traffic but once it grows slow response times and downtime start costing you rankings. i’d start on decent mid-tier hosting and upgrade when traffic needs it support quality matters more than people expect
gsc isn’t required for indexing, google finds pages through links and sitemaps either way. a page with a few good internal or external links can get indexed in days. gsc just gives you tools to speed it up and see what’s wrong, it doesn’t boost rankings on its own
you can’t really force it volume just reflects how many people search the term. build demand with brand awareness PR and content around the topic or target related keywords with higher volume instead
small batch first and see what gets indexed. thin starts when only the keyword changes between pages, adding real data unique to each page (local stats, a calculation) made the difference for me
ai content is fine if it’s edited and has real experience in it, humanizer tools won’t save thin content though. no reliable way to prove a writer didn’t use ai, so judge by quality and originality
start with the website, a few posts around what the tool solves. share it in music production communities as a real contribution, not a drop. then optimize the app store listings with good keywords and screenshots
review velocity and keeping replies consistent helped more than i expected, plus choosing the right primary category and adding real photos regularly. also citations with matching NAP across directories, and services/products filled out completely, most people skip that part
casino and crypto are the hardest for me, a lot of publishers flat out refuse them or charge 3-5x the normal rate. CBD is similar. expect higher prices and slower replies, and relevance matters more since good sites get picky.
crawl stats in GSC first, usually googlebot wastes time on tag pages, archives and parameter urls. noindex those, prune thin pages and link new posts from your busiest hub pages so they get found faster
niche-relevant, especially in competitive niches. a high DR link from an unrelated site does very little for me, while a few relevant ones with real traffic actually move rankings. DR is fine as a first filter but relevance decides
DR 30 with strong organic traffic, easily. DR can be inflated, but real traffic means the site has actual rankings and an audience. i’d take that over a high DR site nobody visits
i check for real organic traffic and close topic overlap, DR is just a first filter. link insertions on aged pages move faster for me, fresh guest posts take longer but look more natural
depends on whether the site shows any signs of life. if impressions and indexing are growing after a few months i keep going, but if there’s nothing after 4-6 months and the niche is crowded, i move on rather than sink more time into it
rss submission links are mostly low value now, google barely counts them and most feed sites are just scraper directories. might help a little with discovery but i wouldn't spend money or time on it, put it into real content and relevant links instead
