I would recommend to invest in building a startup or SaaS. With $50K you can built many great things.
If you want to invest it in physical world I would recommend you invest it in real estate.
While Semrush started as a measure of a site’s backlink profile, it now considers other factors besides for backlinks like organic traffic and spam factors. If you have low organic traffic you will not have high score even with backlinks.
This is not legal advice but I was under the impression that the laws are largely dependent on the type of service your providing. For example, if you're in the healthcare business the requirements are different vs. some other bsuiness.
For backlinks there are many quality services here on BHW.
I would suggest you focus on writing very high quality content. According to many, Google can distinguish between high v. low quality content. This is why some sites rank without any backlinks.
Cloudways has excellent customer service (and they happened to be cheap if you have a lot of traffic)
But they are not typical hosting provider, they are managed hosts.

I think answer search engine will serve as a independent niche.
There is already a search engine like this called Perplexity and from what I understand Google is doing just fine.
You need to use a framework like Selenium, Playwright or Puppeteer to access the page.
For image you need to identify the XPath or CSS.
I checked the site and the image is under <picture> HTML attribute.
It is difficult to answer without more information but two ideas come to mind:
1) Do you have any scheduled tasks or cron jobs that might be interfering with your posts?
2) Any installed plugins that have permission to change the status of post?
