I think it's a permission issue. Login to the FTP via FileZilla, right click either on httpdocs or public_html (depends on the server) and click 'File Attributes', then in 'Numeric Value' type 775 and tick 'Recurse into subdirectories' -> 'Apply to all files and directories'. Click OK and wait...
