I think you can monetize them.. I was reading a tutorial recently about YouTube money making by re-uploading Creative Commons videos on your channel and they get instantly approved. Not sure if it still works tho.
If you have given permission to some kind of application on Facebook, that could be the reason. Go check your Facebook Applications page and see if there are any suspicious apps.
If it makes 0$ it will probably be hard to sell it for 20K$+, but I would recommend you to look for investors. If you believe it's a kick-ass product I see no reason why would you sell a gold mine? I'm sure there are people who would be interested to invest if you explain your product.
