It is not true. I am very familiar with a music world and most of labels are doing that. I am doing it for some of the biggest names. Beatport is nothing than a board for marketing. No one cares for buying tracks, everyone just want to be in top 100 and that is why it is functioning like that.

Hi there, I already pushed about 15 songs into Beatport TOP 100. I can't guarantee on which place you will be after entering top 100 because sale is based on past 7 days. Bringing song into top 10 is possible and I've done that but it cost. We can stay in touch. Cheers.
