Google does not care too much about PBNs. If they wanted they could penalize much more of them. I guess it is ok for them to see people using pbns to rank. Many big sites ranked with them or with similar shady techniques. I see many websites that are ranking for hundreds if not thousands of...

Sometimes people overcomplicate simple words "I disagree". That is why I disagree with OP.

meybe it is ranking nowhere so the spammers have hard time finding it? Or it has some kind of spam protection which protects it from spammers. Plugins or general improvement from wordpress has been good with updates. And don't worry. Spam, at least in some form will come :)
