I try not to stick to one strict method of building links, You want all kinds of links back to your site. Nofollow and ******** also is a good idea because this is more realistic in the eyes of the search engine.

I have just put up a new site and may give this a try. It's only going to be a small site maybe 10 pages. Any tips on how you find these blogs you mentioned? And are they blogs in your niche/topic your using?

Nothing really new there but still not a bad read. I'd like to do more HARO stuff myself but I can imagine it will be difficult for the niches I'm currently working in
