ahh right... im too familiar with the .net environment and VS ide... the most likely alternative to VS is probably netbeans... but when I was learning java it was on bluej... so it would take time for me to get used to it etc. would rather leave it for someone else who has experience with it all =)

Then you must be well off, I live in a 1 bedroom flat... with my parents! I'm at the age of 21 and don't have anything for my self, the money I make online gets me by from month to month and the sum mentioned may not be much at all for some people here but it means a lot to me when I'm at home...
