Exactly right. It sounds like a fairly drawn-out process, but every step doesn't take an awful lot of time. Content locker doesn't have to be self-hosted btw. Optimizing your locker for conversions isn't be as important as optimizing your landing page, but aren't really things worth focusing on...

Depends on a few things: your niche, how you place your ads, and how well you can target these people with your ads. Also have a porn site with around the same level of traffic, and my ads get 5-15 clicks daily.
