Yeah, exactly. I still read the old threads, but mostly to understand the logic behind the strategy. The tactics themselves can be pretty outdated. What worked 5 years ago definitely doesn’t always work today

I wouldn’t write off the older threads. A lot of the basics are still relevant - site structure, quality content, backlinks, technical SEO, etc. But when it comes to things like PBNs and link building, I’d be more careful: what worked a few years ago can produce a very different result today

I don’t think there’s one magic strategy. Reddit, SEO, content - all of it can work if you’re not doing it just for the algorithms. People quickly notice content that’s just made "to tick a box"

Usually these things can work for a while, but then Reddit tends to crack down pretty hard on networks of accounts. A lot depends not just on IP, but also on account behavior, so “no bans in the first 24 hours” doesn’t really mean anything yet
