I have noticed that too. On quora, clarity and quick readability often matters more than length. If an answer gets to the point early and is easy to scan then it tends to perform better even if it is shorter. Long answers can work as well but only if they stay very structured and easy to follow.

I have seen similar tests. Google seems to rely more on internal links within content than just the main navigation. As long as the homepage is still accessible through other links then removing it from nav does not not usually make a noiticeable impact in the shorrt term.

Yes i have noticed something similar in a few niches. A lot of informational keywords seem to have lower reported volumes but i think part of it is also shifting search behavior and more zero click results. I have been relying more on trend direction and intent rather than absolute volume numbers.
