As long as they aren't obvious spam links I don't see any problem with it. Just don't blast it all right away, try to space it out.

If your mom needs to manage the site herself I would recommend using Wordpress with e-commerce plugins. Other solutions like magento and opencart are better, but a typical newcomer wouldn't be able to manage it the least bit.

I do believe that if you +1 the page yourself, it shows up first. If you log out and clear cookies/cache and double check and your site is still #1, well great job! I've seen it happen before, but never for really competitive keywords.

So you are making good money with autoblogs using mainly rss feeds as content? Do you ever use unique articles or PLR as well? I always supposed that autoblogs purely using RSS feeds for content were shunned by the G.

This is good news, this is one of the easiest methods of link building and I would hate to see it stop being effective.

You can make decent money with free blog services, but just be sure to back everything up often so if they decide to shut your blog down, you can just re-up it. You can spin articles, use rss feeds, and when you have a few bucks you can get some decent articles from outsourcing/fiverr or something.

Agreed. There may not be any staggering algo changes with +1 now, but I have a feeling the current implementation is just a "testing the waters" phase. They have big plans.

Spun articles may not have taken a killing blow, but with the trend that the algorithm is following it won't be long. Invest in unique, quality content. At the end of the day, that's what G wants so that's what G is gonna get.

I'd like to see a source on this. It would be another interesting algorithm change if it turns out to be true. I'm also interested in knowing if the big G can track your bounce rate without using their tools. (Analytics, etc.)

you just gotta pull more affiliates on board.. depending on what the niche is push it onto jvnotifypro and as someone else mentioned put it on here and DP that'll help bring some new affiliates on board.. even outbound contact people to start promoting the product.

if you're wanting a long term strategy you got to look at building an authority website in a non competitive niche.. you'll want your site to be more then a 1 page site of even a 10 page site, you want it to be QUALITY with 100+ pages. Price comparison sites and coupon sites are hot on the...
