My advice would be go on niche you have knowledge of and can create outstanding contents. Remember content is the king of SEO. With time and hard work you'll start outranking high Authority site on SERP.

I also recently got a 7 day old domain approved for Adsense..i had to work hard on the blog SEO and now it's has a DA of 10.. It's two weeks old now.
