The Google updates are just so unpredictable, and they never give a clear/true explanation of what they are looking for with each new algo update.

Google loves both wordpress and blogger sites. They particularly like the sitemaps used in wordpress which make it easier for crawling. It is a matter of personal opinion however both are great platforms.

As mentioned previously, use a bot such as Xgram.

I'd recommend just using Flippa, plenty of keen buyers on there, no need to have someone sell the site for you :)
