Only the major and niche-relevant citations still move the needle-Google Business Profile, Yelp, Apple Maps, Bing Places, plus industry-specific directories. The rest are mostly noise now.
I mostly use real local sources-directories, community sites, partnerships, and local news. With consistent NAP and local landing pages, those links boost rankings well in 2026.
