The best (probably easiest) solution would be to install some virtualization software and then run a virtual machine with windows in it :) Not that difficult to setup with vmware/xen/virtualbox/... nowadays. Let me know if you need any help.

Yes, the problem is the belkin. I also had one once. It has a limited number of connections it can open. Try to lower your simultaneous connections... (it is the same for torrents/filesharing). :)

Same problems (also win7).. since the updates i got lots of crashes in all variations. Before all was perfectly fine. I fixed it by using an older .exe, but then there are other bugs.

My site is "stuck" at PR4 for a while now. The last updates did not change the pr, so i guess i can not easily go higher? (backlinking does not seem to change) is PR5 a barrier which is hard to reach?
