No, actually it works exactly the other way around. I've got a Gmail account with [email protected] scheme, and I constantly receive messages for someone of exactly the same full name, who uses [email protected] address (with no separating dot).

But could you, please, include some more details (OK, tentatively)? For example: how much is such account with how many followers? And will they still follow me "never mind what" in the future? And I mean rather active follow-up (likes for my posts, comments etc.)?

I think it depends whether you mean "from SEO point of view", or "in general". Because in the latter case of course it hasn't lost that much impact, just most people who look for entertainment rather than for content move to YT/TikTok/similar. Video is easier.
